Bayern in next round, Schalke out

After Borussia Dortmund managed to get to the quarter finals of UEFA Champions League FC Bayern did the same under the week. Despite losing 0-2 against FC Arsenal Bayern were victorious in the end thanks to the result in first leg. Schalke were unable to do the same and were kicked out by Galatasaray after losing 2-3.

FC Bayern Munich also managed to get to the round of eight in UEFA Champions League. Despite their 0-2-home loss against FC Arsenal Bayern will continue in the competition as they have won the first leg 3-1 in London. Juventus Turin will be their next opponent on April 2.

FC Schalke 04 could not do the same as they lost second leg against Galatasaray Istanbul with 2-3 after a 1-1-draw in first leg. Istanbul will now face Real Madrid in quarterfinals and FC Barcelona, that managed to turn a 0-2-loss in first leg against AC Milan around by winning 4-0 on home turf, will face Paris Saint-Germain.

Borussia Dortmund will be playing against Malaga CF in the next round that will take place on April 2/3 and April 9/10. The draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter finals are listed below.
