Bayern increasing lead furthermore
Matchday 23 seemed to be designed for FC Bayern Munich as no team of the upper six except FCB managed to win. Dortmund and Leverkusen only drew in their matches with Gladbach and Fuerth while Munich simply crushed Werder Bremen with 6-1 increasing their lead to 17 points. The North Derby between Hanover and Hamburg ended with 96 crushing HSV 5-1.
FC Bayern Munich took one more step towards the championship 2012/2013. There is more or less no doubt anymore as they lead the pack after matchday 23 with 17 points after crushing Werder Bremen with 6-1 while Dortmund and Leverkusen only drew in their matches with Gladbach and Fuerth. The match in Fuerth ended goalless while Dortmund´s 1-0 lead was equalized in second half for the 1-1 final score.
The North Derby between Hanover 96 and Hamburger SV had a very bad ending for Hamburg as 96 crushed them 5-1. For the first time really this season HSV keeper Rene Adler showed a quite weak performance having his fair share in a couple of Hanover´s goals. The Friday night match saw forth placed Eintracht Frankfurt and fifth placed SC Freiburg facing each other in a rather uneventful match that ended in a goalless draw. No team of the upper six except FC Bayern managed to win on matchday 23 which manifested their dominating position in chart.
Schalke winning against Duesseldorf
FC Schalke 04 won their match against Fortuna Duesseldorf on Saturday night to regain some confidence in Bundesliga after weak weeks. FC Augsburg also gain very important points in relegation struggle on Saturday by defeating 1899 Hoffenheim with 2-1.
More results this matchday were the 1-1 of VFB Stuttgart and 1. FC Nuremberg and the same result in the match of FSV Mainz 05 and VFL Wolfsburg.
