Bayern increasing lead furthermore

FC Bayern Munich increased their lead on matchday 19 by two points. FCB beat Stuttgart 2-0 while Leverkusen only drew in Freiburg. Dortmund won their match on Friday against Nuremberg staying twelve points shy of Munich. The two North Derbies were won by Hamburg and Hanover against Bremen and Wolfsburg respectively.

FC Bayern Munich are still leading the pack in Germany´s Bundesliga by far. After winning their match against VFB Stuttgart with 2-0 while Bayer 04 Leverkusen´s match in Freiburg ended in a goalless draw their current lead is at eleven points towards second placed Factory Squad.

Borussia Dortmund easily won their Friday night match against 1. FC Nuremberg with 3-0. Jakub “Kuba” Blaszczykowski scored twice and his fellow countryman Robert Lewandowksi put the finishing touch on BVB´s performance. FCB however are still quite far away with a twelve point gap between both clubs.

HSV, Hanover winning North Derbies

Stuttgart against Bayern was not the only derby this matchday as there were two North Derbies as well. Hanover 96 defeated Wolfsburg with 2-1 despite playing a major part of the match with one man less. Hanover have got 26 points so far sitting on position ten in chart.

The second North Derby took place between Hamburger SV and Werder Bremen. The classic rivalry between the two traditional clubs unloaded in a strong match on Sunday seeing five goals. HSV won the fight with 3-2 in the end with Son, Aogo and Rudnevs scoring.

More games of matchday 19 ended as following: SpVgg Greuther Fuerth – Mainz 05 0-3, Borussia Moenchengladbach – Fortuna Duesseldorf 2-1, FC Augsburg – FC Schalke 04 0-0, Eintracht Frankfurt – TSG 1899 Hoffenheim 2-1.
