Bayern winning cup
FC Bayern Munich have won the German Cup DFB-Pokal. The team of coach Pep Guardiola beat Borussia Dortmund 2:0 in overtime to secure their second title of the season. The victory in a match that was intense but lacked of class football was overshadowed by a referee mistake as BVB scored a goal within the regular time, that the ref denied.
FC Bayern Munich are the champions of German cup DFB-Pokal. After winning the Bundesliga with a big lead towards Dortmund the Borussia had to settle for second place in cup also. In an intense but overall weak game FC Bayern Munich scored to goals in overtime to win 2:0. Arjen Robben (107th minute) and Thomas Mueller (120 +3th) were the decisive players. The victory was overall well-earned as FCB were the better team for the full 120 minutes.
However, the win was overshadowed by a big mistake from the referees as Borussia Dortmund scored a legal goal within the regular time that was denied falsely. Robert Lewandowski had passed a free kick from Nuri Sahin over to Hummels who headed to ball in. Dante cleared the ball just moments to late as the ball was clearly behind the goal line. The game went on though and FCB won in overtime.
