BVB, Bayern already in next round
Two of the four German teams in UEFA Champions League have already made it through group stage. Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich both have qualified for the round of the last 16 as they have 12 points each after four matches. FC Bayer Munich also secured the group win while BVB are in a very good position to do so as well with a five point lead towards FC Arsenal. Dortmund beat Galatasaray Istanbul on Tuesday with 4:1 while Munich beat AS Roma 2:0 on Wednesday. Bayer 04 Leverkusen meanwhile are likely to follow as they lead their group by four points after the 2:1 win over St. Petersburg. FC Schalke 04 on the other hand might struggle to make it to next round as they lost 2:4 against Sporting. They sit on second place with one point towards the Portuguese now. Marco Reus completed his celebration triple against Istanbul as he put his hands on his mouth after the goal. Before he already had been putting his hands on his ears and eyes after scoring.
