BVB come close, but fail, FCB will meet Real

Second leg of quarter-finals saw Borussia Dortmund almost achieving the unachievable as they lost the first leg match 0:3 in Madrid. The match in Dortmund was 2:0 for BVB at halftime and they dominated Real for most of the match but failed to score the need third goal to go into extra time. In the end Madrid make it to semi-finals where they will meet FC Bayern Munich. The current champion needed a leading goal from ManU just after the break to wake up and beat them 3:1 to secure their ticket to the round of the last four. In the other matches Chelsea turned things around against Paris and Atletico shocked FC Barcelona by winning 1:0 and kicking the “Blaugrana” out of the competition.
