Borussia Dortmund is unbeaten in Bundesliga for 22 games in a row but stumbled against Stuttgart as they ended up chopping the points with the scoreboard showing 4-4. Shinjia Kagawa (minute 33) and Jakub Blaszczykowski (minute 49) had scored the lead for Dortmund and Germany´s current champion controlled the game up to minute 71.

Stuttgart only needed eight minutes to turn the tights around as Vedad Ibisevic (minute 71) and Julian Schieber (minutes 77/79) changed the scoreboard to 3-2 for VFB. Perplexed Dortmund players were able to turn things around again as Mats Hummels (minute 82) and Ivan Perisic (minute 87) put BVB back in the lead with 4-3 in what was an astonishing football game. But Christian Gentner equalized the score once again in minute 90+2.

FC Bayern Munich used the BVB´s struggles right away as they defeated Nuremberg with 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. Dortmund is now leading with three points two matchdays ahead of the highly anticipated clash of BVB and Munich on April 11.

Schalke 04 only draw against Hoffenheim on late Sunday as Klaas-Jan Huntelaar equalized the score to 1-1 only 10 minutes to the end by penalty. Fourth placed Borussia Moenchengladbach even lost their Sunday match in Hanover with 1-2. Hanover jumped to position 5 in chart as Leverkusen and Bremen both lost.

Hamburg, Freiburg, Mainz and Augsburg all scored desperately needed points to fight relegation. HSV won 1-0 in Kaiserslautern thanks to Marcel Jansen´s goal and is now on position 15 with 30 points. Kaiserslautern´s fight is all but over with 20 points and last place in chart.

SC Freiburg surprisingly defeated Bayer Leverkusen on their home turf with 2-0 and defended position 13 with 31 points. Leverkusen´s management fired head coach Robin Dutt on Sunday morning. Sami Hyypiä takes charge at Leverkusen for the rest of the campaign.

Mainz crushed Werder Bremen with 3-0 and FC Augsburg gained some big points by defeating 1. FC Cologne with 2-1. Cologne are now on position 16 with 28 points, Augsburg have 30 points and range on position 15.

In spite of Hertha BSC Berlin´s 1-4-loss on late Saturday Bundesliga´s relegation struggle stays tense as no team up to Hoffenheim on position 10 is really in safe waters so far and 17th placed Berlin being only four points behind HSV and Augsburg.
