Dortmund draws as FCB crushes Hoffenheim

Matchday 25 saw leading team Dortmund struggling in Augsburg only finishing with a goalless draw. FC Bayern Munich however crushed TSG Hoffenheim with 7-1 and was able to decrease BVB´s lead by two points.


Franck Ribery once again made the difference.

Borussia Dortmund were unable to proceed their winning streak in Augburg as they drawed with 0-0. It was the 19th consecutive game without being defeated however. But in chart they lost two points of their seven-point-lead towards FC Bayern Munich as Germany´s record title holder crushed Hoffenheim with 7-1.

Borussia Moenchengladbach did not manage to win against Freiburg and lost two points towards Schalke 04. S04 won 3-1 against Hamburger SV on late Sunday to put some pressure on Gladbach, who are currently on third place in chart.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen was on a good way to leave the devastating loss in Barcelona on Wednesday (7-1) behind them as they scored an early lead in Wolfsburg. But VFL turned the tights around and finished 3-2.

Werder Bremen won 3-0 on Sunday against Hanover 96 and is now only one point behind Leverkusen on sixth place in chart.

1. FC Cologne was able to secure a 1-0-win in the six-pointer against Hertha BSC Berlin. With 28 points and 13th place they are safe for the moment.

Mainz 05 won 2-1 in Nuremberg on Saturday with Mohammed Zidan scoring for the sixth straight time in his sixth game since returning to Mainz in winter.

Already on Friday night the match between VFB Stuttgart and last placed Kaiserslautern ended in a goalless draw which means, that Kaiserslautern have not won in 15 games straight.
