Dortmund, Schalke back on track

After moderate performances last matchday Dortmund and Schalke are back on track in Bundesliga. BVB won the match against Augsburg with 3-1, S04 turned things around against Bremen winning 2-1. FC Bayern defeated Frankfurt with 2-0 and Leverkusen lost 1-3 against Wolfsburg.

Dortmund only drew last matchday, Schalke even lost their match against Hoffenheim in last minute. This matchday both German Champions League competitors got back on track. Dortmund defeated Augsburg with 3-1 while Schalke 04 beat Werder Bremen with 2-1 despite being one behind at half time.

FC Bayern won their match against Eintracht Frankfurt, too. Jupp Heynckes´ team defeated the promoted Frankfurt with 2-0 thanks to Franck Ribery (44th minute) and David Alaba (77th). Bayern have 30 points leading Schalke with seven, Frankfurt with ten and Dortmund with eleven points.

A lot of goals on Sunday

VFL Wolfsburg after losing last week´s match defeated Bayer 04 Leverkusen on Sunday with 3-1. Diego (4th, 16th) scored the first two goals himself and indirectly assisted the third one from Bas Dost (33th). Kießling´s last minute goal had no real relevance.

The other two matches on Sunday saw twelve goals combined. Hannover was 0-2 behind at half time in Stuttgart but turned things around to win 4-2 against VFB. Gladbach´s final result against Fuerth was the same but they were only 0-1 and 1-2 behind during the game.

Mainz´ Tuchel lodging complaint

More games on Saturday were the goalless draw between SC Freiburg and Hamburger SV as well as the 1-1 in the match of Fortuna Duesseldorf and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.

On Friday night Mainz defeated Nuremberg with 2-1 on home turf. The fourth Referee who´s job it is to calm down the two parties on the side of the field seemingly did the opposite as Mainz coach Thomas Tuchel said he is going to lodge a complaint on the matter.
