England about to be kicked out
Spain´s surprising failure at the FIFA World Cup 2014 is about to be followed by another surprising early exit. England have zero points out of two matches and will most likely not survive group stage. The team of Roy Hodgson lost 1:2 against Uruguay. Columbia meanwhile qualified for the round of the last 16 by defeating Cote d´Ivoire 2:1 and Greece and Japan drew 0:0.

The two decisive players of the match: Rooney (r.) with his severall unlucky attempts and effective Suarez.
Spain´s early exit from FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil was the first big surprise of the tournament and it is about to be followed by another one. England´s chances of surviving group stage have dropped to a minimum after their second loss in their second game. The match with Uruguay ended 1:2 after two goals by England´s football player of the year and Uruguay striker Suarez. England would be out, if Italy will not win against Costa Rica, but even if the chances stay small.
Columbia meanwhile already qualified for the round of the last 16. The 2:1 victory over Cote d´Ivoire marked their second win and thanks to the goalless draw of Japan and Greece their six points enable them to play next round already. Ivory Coast still have the best chances of the remaining three as they have three points while Japan and Greece only have one. The last matches in their group will be between Japan and Columbia as well as Greece and Ivory Coast.
