First three are going to be tested

No team of the leading three is going to have an easy task on matchday 19 in German Bundesliga. Bayern, Dortmund and Sc halke are tying for first place with 37 points each. Bayern and Dortmund will play home games against Wolfsburg respectively Hoffenheim while Schalke will face Cologne on their home turf.


FCB´s coach Heynckes wants his team to improve.

The Bundesliga is as close as it gets at the moment. Three teams tie for first place while surprising Gladbach is just one point shy on position 4 in chart. The FC Bayern had started the year 2012 on the wrong foot. Last week they lost 1-3 against Borussia Moenchengladbach.
This week Felix Magath is travelling to Munich with his newly changed team. The Wolfsburg coach invested 27 Million Euro in winter break. FC Bayern have to win in order to stay on top of the chart. FCB is unbeaten in five against VFL and Wolfsburg is the worst team on foreign ground so far.
Current champion Borussia Dortmund is unbeaten in twelve Bundesliga games as they won nine of them. But with TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Dortmund´s worst enemy is coming to Signal-Iduna-Park. BVB only won one out of seven against TSG. And Hoffenheim is on a little roll themselves as they are unbeaten in three games for the first time this campaign.
Schalke 04 will face 1. FC Cologne on late Saturday. Cologne has only won one out of the last seven games against S04. Schalke have won the last four games in Bundesliga and is hungry to stay in touch with Dortmund and Bayern.
Fourth placed Gladbach will play on late Sunday against VFB Stuttgart. The VFB are unbeaten in eleven games against Borussia but have lost the last three Bundesliga matches.
Another good match this weekend will be the encounter of fifth and sixth placed Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Werder Bremen on Saturday. For both teams the three points would be majorly important as they try to keep up with the leading teams.
More games this matchday will be: Hanover 96 against Nuremberg, Hertha BSC against Hamburger SV, FC Augsburg against 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Mainz 05 against SC Freiburg on Sunday.
