First win for HSV
Hamburger SV managed to win their first match this season in Bundesliga. With 1:0 they fought down Borussia Dortmund to leave last place in chart. It was the fourth win for Hamburg in the last five matches with BVB. Dortmund dropped down to rank 13 after the loss. FC Bayern meanwhile continue to improve as they beat Hanover 96 and now lead the pack with four points already. Leverkusen and Gladbach each only drew and Werder Bremen and SC Freiburg are the only two still waiting for their first win.

Josef Zinnbauer was able to celebrate his first win in Bundesliga against his former team mate Juergen Klopp as they both played in Mainz.
HSV have become somewhat of nemesis for Dortmund. The 1:0 win on Saturday afternoon was the fourth win over the last five matches against BVB. Pierre-Michelle Lasogga scored the winner after a very strong assistance of Nikolai Mueller. HSV left last place due to the win but Dortmund dropped down to position 13 in chart as this was their fourth loss already this season.
FC Bayern meanwhile starting to move into gear as they beat Hanover 96 4:0 which gave them 10:0 goal difference over the last three matches and a four points advantage in chart towards second place. Bayer 04 Leverkusen only luckily drew 2:2 against a strong SC Paderborn after a late equalizer and Borussia Moenchengladbach´s match with Mainz ended 1:1. TSG 1899 Hoffenheim meanwhile won 2:1 against FC Schalke to jump to second place in chart.
Bremen, Freiburg still to win
The only two teams beside HSV that headed into matchday seven without a victory to their name yet this season were Werder Bremen and SC Freiburg. Both met in a direct confrontation which ended 1:1 leaving them still hunting their first win.
The night match on Saturday saw a strong Alex Meier securing the win for his team as he scored twice during the 3:2 win of Eintracht Frankfurt over Cologne. The match Hertha BSC Berlin versus VfB Stuttgart on Friday night had the same result also with a forward, namely Kalou, scoring twice for his team. VfL Wolfsburg meanwhile beat FC Augsburg in a pretty boring match with 1:0.
