Hanover defeating Munich
Hanover 96 have defeated FC Bayern Munich with 2-1 on Sunday night. FCB´s Jerome Boateng was sent to the rail after only 28 minutes after assaulting a Hanover player. Dortmund and Schalke both won their matches.
FC Bayern Munich have lost their first game since match day one. Germany´s record title holder lost 1-2 in Hanover on late Sunday. Bayern had to play with one man less then Hanover from the 28 minute on. Jerome Boateng saw the red card for assaulting a Hanover player. Mohammed Abdellaoue had scored an early goal by penalty and Christian Pander extended the lead just after the break. Hanover´s Steven Cherundelo was sent to the rail too after 63 minutes of play but Bayern only managed to score once.
Second placed Dortmund meanwhile crushed 1. FC Cologne in the Signal-Iduna-Park with 5-0 and is now on a four game winning-streak. Right behind BVB is Schalke 04. The blue-whites have won against Bayer Leverkusen with a late goal from Farfan with 1-0.
The game between Nuremberg and Stuttgart ended in a 2-2-remis and Mainz and promoted Hertha BSC Berlin have chopped the points as well in a goalless draw.
Kaiserslautern defeated SC Freiburg with 1-0 and TSG Hoffenheim also won with 1-0 against Borussia Moenchengladbach.
On Friday night the game of Bremen and Augsburg ended in a 1-1.
The Hamburger SV managed to leave last place in chart with their 1-1-draw against VFL Wolfsburg. It was the first game under new head coach Thorsten Fink. HSV played well but was unable to score the winning goal after Mladen Petric´s equalizer.
