Hamburg and Hoffenheim still have not managed to get a single point three games into season 2012/2013 in Bundesliga. HSV was beaten by promoted Frankfurt with 3-2 and Hoffenheim got defeated by Freiburg with 5-3. Dortmund and Munich won their matches against Leverkusen and Mainz. The encounter of Hanover and Bremen was very intense and decided by a fantastic goal in the last second.

Van Der Vaart made a strong debut but could not prevent the defeat.

Three matches into this season and Hamburger SV and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim both still have zero points. On a goal fest Sunday Hoffenheim was beaten by Freiburg with 5-3 and Frankfurt defeated HSV with 3-2 on home turf.

A crazy match saw Hoffenheim take the very early lead but Freiburg turned things around to 2-1 and after the break Hoffenheim equalized, Freiburg shot the 3-2, TSG equalized again and Freiburg scored the last two goals during the last ten minutes of the game.

Hamburger SV was two goals behind just 18 minutes into the game. Westermann got one back but Jirazek was sent off the pitch after a serious foul play. After the break Stefan Aigner (52th minute) scored the 3-1 and Son´s goal (63th) did not encourage HSV players enough to get back into the game which ended 3-2 for Frankfurt.

Frankfurt have won the first three matches now and has as many points as leading FC Bayern Munich. FCB won their match against Mainz 05 with 3-1. Mandzukic (2th), Mueller (13th) and Kroos (90+2th) scored for Germany´s record title holder.

Dortmund left no doubt whatsoever who was in charge in the game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen. The goals of Hummels (29th), Kuba (39th) and Lewandowski (78th) secured their 3-0 victory. It was the 31 second Bundesliga match in a row without losing for BVB.

The most intense match of this weekend was surely the “Nordderby” between Hanover 96 and Werder Bremen. Hanover´s Szabolcs Huszti was the man of the match. He scored the early lead just six minutes in with a direct free kick and assisted the 2-0 by Leon Andreasen just four minutes later. Bremen however got back into the game and was able to equalize through Hunt (26th) and De Bruyne (74th).

The match saw several very good opportunities on both sides and a good fighting effort from the two teams. Seconds before the match ended in minute 93 it was once again Huszti who decided the game. He scored a beautiful goal by falling over head kick and his joy was obviously borderless. He celebrated too much though according to the referee who sent him off the field with yellow red card, the first one for taking of his shirt, the second for celebrating at the fence.

The match between Borussia Moenchengladbach and 1. FC Nuremberg was a very good one as well. Nuremberg was up to a perfect start into the match getting 2-0 into the lead. Gladbach however was able to equalize until a strong dribble play of Hiroshi Kiyotake including a cold finish set the score board to 3-2, the final result.

FC Augsburg and VFL Wolfsburg both were unable to score during their encounter on Friday night as well as VFB Stuttgart and Fortuna Duesseldorf. The two draws marked the first points for Stuttgart and Augsburg this campaign.

FC Schalke 04 beat Greuther Fuerth on late Saturday. Thanks to the goals of Julian Draxler (68th) and Lewis Holtby (88th) they managed to win 2-0.
