Leverkusen defeating Dortmund
The Duel of the two Bayern hunters Leverkusen and Dortmund saw Bayer win 1:0 in Signal-Iduna-Park. FC Bayern now lead Leverkusen with four points and BVB with ten after crushing Werder Bremen 7:0. Borussia Moenchengladbach meanwhile beat FC Schalke 04 with 2:1 putting the pressure and Dortmund as they both have 31 points now.

The headliner of matchday 15 with Bayer 04 Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund going head-to-head saw Dortmund delivering the worst performance of the year and Leverkusen winning thanks to a strong first half and a blunder of Manuel Friedrich who misplaced a pass leading to Son´s goal after about 20 minutes.
After the win Bayer Leverkusen have put six points between them and BVB while staying four points shy of FC Bayern Munich. The team of Pep Guardiola crushed Werder Bremen scoring their best result this season by winning 7:0.
Borussia Moenchengladbach on the other hand put some pressure on Dortmund as they beat Schalke with 2:1 and now have 31 points, same as BVB. Schalke was in the lead after a penalty that could also have lead to Julian Korb being sent off the pitch. The referee decided the yellow card was enough and just minutes later Raffael equalized before Kruse scored a penalty for the 2:1 just before the break. Schalke captain Hoewedes was sent off with the yellow-red card in result of the handball that lead to the penalty. With one man less FC were unable to come back in second half.
Hamburg losing against Augsburg
Hamburger SV meanwhile will stay on the lower places in chart as they lost 0:1 against FC Augsburg still sitting on 16 points and position 13. More games of the Saturday saw Hanover 96 beat VfB Stuttgart with 4:2 and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim winning 2:1 against Eintracht Frankfurt. 1. FC Nuremberg and FSV Mainz 05 already drew 1:1 on Friday night and the matches on Sunday saw VfL Wolfsburg defeating SC Freiburg with 3:0 and Hertha BSC Berlin winning the match of the two promoted teams with 2:0 against Eintracht Braunschweig.
