Leverkusen meet Schalke
This weekend´s headliner will be the encounter of Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke 04. The two clubs will play the Saturday night match. Dortmund and FC Bayern will have rather easy tasks with Greuther Fuerth and Nuremberg. Hamburger SV will meet recently strong playing Mainz 05.
Leverkusen´s players were unhappy with their performance last week and will try to make up for it against Schalke.
The players are all back at their clubs after the international friendly match break under the week. Germany´s game in the Netherlands will not be remembered for long as the pretty eventless encounter ended in a goalless draw.
Now Bundesliga is back promising more highlights. On Saturday night Schalke 04 will play in Leverkusen against Bayer in this weekend´s headliner. It will be position five receiving position two in chart. Leverkusen will have to make up for the loss against Wolfsburg last week while Schalke will be motivated by turning the match against Bremen around recently.
Dortmund and FC Bayern will have rather easy task as BVB meet Greuther Fuerth and Bayern will play in Nuremberg. Dortmund are looking to win two in a row for the first time this season.
Gladbach in Stuttgart, HSV receiving Mainz
Borussia Moenchengladbach will meet VFB Stuttgart. Borussia won last week 4-2 after being behind twice while Stuttgart managed to lose against Hanover 96 with 2-4 despite being 2-0 in the lead. Before that Stuttgart had been one the comeback trail after a weak start to the season and they are looking to get back on track against Gladbach.
Hamburger SV took a somewhat similar development after a very weak start but stabilized their performances over the last matches. Now a strong opponent will come to Hamburg. Mainz 05 played very strong over the last weeks but only got one of their five victories on foreign territory. HSV on the other hand did not played too strong on home turf.
More games on Saturday will take place between Hanover 96 and SC Freiburg as well as between Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Augsburg.
Bremen and Wolfsburg on Sunday
Werder Bremen will receive Fortuna Duesseldorf on Sunday. It will be the first match after Klaus Allofs left the club heading Wolfsburg. The former Manager was in Bremen for the last 14 years. His new club Wolfsburg will play at the same time in Sinsheim. Against the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim they will try to get the fourth victory in the fifth match after Felix Magath.
