German national head coach Joachim Loew decided not to take Stuttgart´s forward Cacau with him to the European Championship in Poland and Ukraine (June 8th to July 1st). Three more players from the preliminary team join Cacau on his way home back to Germany.
Cacau will not play for Germany on coming European Championship in Poland and Ukraine (June 8th to July 1st). The Brazilian born player is one of four players who have to leave the team.
No surprise is the early departure of Gladbach´s keeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen. The 19-year-old was supposed to be the one goalie who will eventually have to leave.
Schalke´s Julian Draxler has to fly back home to Germany, too. As well as Dortmund´s Sven Bender who lost the fight for the last remaining position against his twin brother Lars Bender (Bayer 04 Leverkusen) and his teammate Ilkay Guendogan.
