FC Bayern Munich was under big pressure after the loss in Basel and the draw in Freiburg last week. They were back on track in Bundesliga this weekend as they won the matchup with Schalke 04 with 2-0. Dortmund won their match against Hanover too and are leading still with four points.

FCB´s Franck Ribery made the difference.

As the German media was already talking about a crisis in Munich FCB had to face Schalke 04 last weekend. “It is the most important match of this campaign,” said Football legend Franz Beckenbauer before the match.

FCB controlled the match over 90 minutes and Superstar Franck Ribery made the difference as he scored twice and played an awesome match. End result was 2-0 and Bayern were back on second place in chart.

Leader Dortmund had a big fight against Hanover. 96 was the last team to beat BVB this season. Robert Lewandowski scored twice to put Dortmund in the lead but Didier Ya Konan brought some tension back into the match after one hour.

BVB missed several good opportunities to secure the win until Ivan Perisic unbanned BVB in Minute 91 by scoring the 3-1. Dortmund is now unbeaten for 17 games straight in Bundesliga and leads the pack by four points.

Gladbach only drawed against Hamburger SV on Friday night and is now number three again five points shy of BVB.

The first match with Otto Rehagel as new coach of Hertha BSC Berlin did not went well for the struggling team. Also promoted Augsburg defeated them with 3-0.

VFB Stuttgart beat SC Freiburg with 4-1 and Mainz crushed Kaiserslautern with 4-0 as Mohammed Zidan scored for the fourth straight time since he transferred back to Mainz in winter.

VFL Wolfsburg lost 1-2 against Hoffenheim and Cologne was beaten by Leverkusen with 2-0. On Saturday night the encounter of Bremen and Nuremberg ended luckily for the guests as Alexander Esswein scored the winning goal out of the blue in a match controlled by Werder.
