Munich regains lead

On matchday 15 of German Bundesliga leader Dortmund had to face second placed Gladbach. The two teams ended up chopping the points and it was FC Bayern Munich that took advantage of it. FCB crushed Bremen with 4-1 and regained the lead in Bundesliga.


Arjen Robben scored twice.

After only one matchday off the top of the chart FC Bayern Munich is back on track in Bundesliga. Germany´s record title holder surpassed Dortmund and Moenchengladbach as the two former top teams in chart played against each other. The game ended in a 1-1-draw and FCB won 4-1 against Werder Bremen. Each Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben both scored twice.

Bayer Leverkusen won the Friday night match with 2-0 against Hoffenheim and closed in on now fifth placed Bremen. Eren Derdyok and Sidney Sam have scored for Leverkusen.

The top third of Bundesliga are very close to each other as only six points separate first and sixth place.

Schalke 04 surpassed Werder Bremen and is now on fourth place. The Gelsenkirchen residents defeated Augsburg with 3-1 on late Sunday.

HSV is on the comeback trail as Thorsten Fink´s team continues to gain points. After the 2-0-victory against Nuremberg on home turf HSV is on 11th place in chart.

The other four games on matchday 15 ended in draws: SC Freiburg - Hanover 96 1-1 and Kaiserslautern - Berlin 1-1. The endresult of the games between Wolfsburg and Mainz as well as Stuttgart and Cologne was 2-2 each.
