Promoted teams on Sunday

The two promoted teams in German Bundesliga hat quiet different starts to the season last week. While Berlin beat Frankfurt with 6-1 leading the chart for at least one week, Braunschweig lost 0-1 in Bremen. This week both teams will play the Sunday matches. Berlin will face Nuremberg while Braunschweig is going to play in Dortmund. FC Bayern will meet Frankfurt on Saturday.

Of the two recently promoted teams Eintracht Braunschweig and Hertha BSC Berlin the last one had a much better start. Berlin beat Frankfurt with 6-1 to lead the chart after matchday one and will have to continue the good performance on Sunday in Nuremberg. The other new team in Bundesliga Eintracht Braunschweig lost 0-1 against Bremen last week and will have to face Borussia Dortmund on late Sunday. BVB will have to substitute Ilkay Guendogan as he was injured lightly under the week in the national match of Germany against Paraguay. Roman Weidenfeller and new-arrival Henrikh Mkhitaryan will rejoin the squad.

FC Bayern on Saturday

FC Bayern Munich will already play on Saturday afternoon against Eintracht Frankfurt. The team of Armin Veh had a devastating start to the season by being crushed 1-6 and a second match against Bayern might not be what the doctor ordered for Frankfurt. On Bayern side Mario Goetze might be heading for his first appearance as a FCB player.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen won their match against SC Freiburg last week with 3-1 and will be guests in Stuttgart on Saturday. VFL Wolfsburg will receive FC Schalke 04 at the same time. Wolfsburg will have to substitute Arnold and Klose who have been sent off the pitch last week.

HSV against Hoffenheim

Hamburger SV will face TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. HSV showed a rather strong performance agains FC Schalke last week resulting in a 3-3-draw. Now Hoffenheim will visit the northern metropole. TSG coach Markus Gidsol kicked namable players like Derdiyok, Wiese, Braafheid, Weis and Delpierre out of the squad before the season started. Last week they drew 2-2 against Nuremberg.

More games of matchday three will take place between Werder Bremen and FC Augsburg as well as between SC Freiburg and Mainz 05. On Saturday night Borussia Moenchengladbach and Hanover 96 will encounter in this week´s headliner.
