Borussia Dortmund lost the Revierderby against Schalke 04 on Saturday with 1-2. S04 is now two out of two this season against their arch rival. Schalke got off to a good start and dominated first half against weak playing Dortmund players. 2-0 at half time was the well earned result. BVB got better into the game during second half and got one back about 15 minutes into second half.

Dortmund was more active now but Schalke stayed more dangerous with several good opportunities. The 2-1-victory was well earned in the end and Schalke are sitting pretty now on position four in chart with as much points as Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht drew against Hanover 96 in Sunday with 0-0.

BVB stayed on second place as well as Bayer Leverkusen were unable to benefit from the loss. They got defeated by Mainz 05 themselves with 0-1 in cause of a questionable penalty kick. FC Bayern won their match against Fortuna Duesseldorf despite being one behind twice during the game. In the end however it was 3-2 for Bayern and a astonishing 20 point lead in chart.

Hoffenheim winning against relegation rivals

TSG 1899 Hoffenheim had to face Greuther Fuerth this weekend. It was position 17 against 18 in chart and Fuerth was flat out chanceless. Hoffenheim dominated the match and won 3-0 gathering very important points in relegation struggle as they are now only two points shy of Augsburg as they lost 1-2 on Friday against Nuremberg.

The match between VFL Wolfsburg and SC Freiburg showed more than one brilliant goal. The 5-2-victory of Wolfsburg was supported by Vierinha´s lovely volley from about 20 meters distance simply hammered under the bar and Olic´s bicycle kick into the longer corner.

HSV eyeing Europe

Hamburg SV meanwhile beat VFB Stuttgart with 1-0 after a really beautiful direct shot of Artjoms Rudnevs. Now HSV have gained enough points for position six in chart which would enable them to play Europa League next season and position four is only one point away at the moment.

Borussia Moenchengladbach and Werder Bremen drew on Saturday night with 1-1 which leaves them both right in the middle of chart with Gladbach having slightly more ambitions towards Europe than Werder.
