Top clash ahead
Matchday 13 will host the most anticipated game of Bundesliga. Borussia Dortmund will receive FC Bayern Munich in Signal-Iduna-Park. Despite winning the Champions League final FCB are waiting for a win against Dortmund in Bundesliga for six matches. They lead BVB by four heading into the Saturday night match. A possible win might decide the race for the championship in Germany at a very early stage. Leverkusen meanwhile will meet with Berlin on Saturday afternoon already, Gladbach will open the matchday in Stuttgart on Friday night and Hamburger SV will play Hanover 96 in the North Derby on Sunday.

The match of Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern will be the second game between coaches Juergen Klopp and Pep Guardiola.
Almost exactly six months ago it was the match for the ultimate crown in European club football, the final of UEFA Champions League. This Saturday night the game will be played in Bundesliga again. Borussia Dortmund will receive FC Bayern Munich in Signal-Iduna-Park for the clash of the titans in Germany. 200 countries will broadcast the match.
Bayern will head into the game leading BVB by four points. A possible win for FCB therefore might already give a good hint towards the race for the championship in Germany as Bayern is unlikely to give away a seven point lead in chart in their current form. BVB are unbeaten against Munich in six league games straight but lost in DFB Pokal and Champions League last season.
Many injuries at BVB side
Dortmund meanwhile are struggling with injured players as Mats Hummels and Marcel Schmelzer will be missing the match on Saturday as well as Neven Subotic. Juergen Klopp will have to trust in a defense that has never played in that formation ever. Manuel Friedrich who was just signed under the week in consequence of the in injured players might debut in the starting eleven. On the other side Franck Ribery will have to be substituted due to a broken rip.
Mario Goetze and Robert Lewandowksi also will be in the spot light on Saturday night. For the former crowd favorite Goetze it will be the first appearance in front of the “black-yellow wall” not wearing the same colours while it might be the last encounter of the two clubs in Dortmund with Lewandowski wearing the dress of the home team. His transfer to Munich in summer seems to be a sealed deal.
Leverkusen in Berlin
Bayer 04 Leverkusen meanwhile will have the chance to surpass Dortmund on Saturday afternoon – at least for a couple of hours by beating Hertha BSC in Berlin. Fourth placed Borussia Moenchengladbach will open matchday 13 on Friday night in Stuttgart and FC Schalke 04 will play in Frankfurt against Eintracht. VfL Wolfsburg, recently winning three matches in a row including one against Dortmund, will play in Nuremberg and FC Augsburg will meet TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
The Sunday will host the North Derby between Hamburger SV and Hannover 96, both teams not with the best results so far this season, needing to win. The match between SV Werder Bremen and FSV Mainz 05 will round up matchday 13.
