Top four teams win
All four top teams of German Bundesliga won their games this weekend. Dortmund defeated Bremen 1-0, Bayern crushed Berlin with 6-0, Gladbach won in Leverkusen with 2-1 and Schalke turned things around against Kaiserslautern and defeated them with 4-1.
On matchday 26 in Bundesliga all four top teams won their games. Dortmund defeated Werder Bremen with 1-0 leaving out severall good opportunities and dominating the match from the start on. Shinji Kagawa scored the only goal for BVB in minute 8. Dortmund has 59 points leading FC Bayern still by five.
FC Bayern continued their good run in Berlin by crushing Otto Rehagel´s team with 6-0. Arjen Robben scored three times, Thomas Mueller, Mario Gomez and Toni Kroos completed the score. Franck Ribery played pretty well too as he assisted two goals.
Borussia Moenchengladbach defeated Bayer 04 Leverkusen with 2-1 thanks to Marco Reus. The youngster who is going to play for Dortmund next campaign scored the leading goal and assisted Igor De Camargo´s last minute goal.
Schalke 04 had to play on Sunday against Kaiserslautern. FCK scored an early lead but failed to control the match. S04 turned the tights around and overran the home team by scoring four goals and winning 4-1.
Werder Bremen and Bayer Leverkusen are currently number six and five in chart but Hanover 96 defeated Cologne with 4-1 and is constantly putting more pressure on them. The deficit has shrunk to one respectively two points.
VFB Stuttgart beat Hoffenheim with 2-1 on Friday and VFL Wolfsburg was able to turn the match in Nuremberg around as they ended up with a 3-1 after Nuremberg´s Daniel Didavi had scored the early lead.
1. FC Augsburg defeated Mainz 05 with 2-1 and left the last three places in chart. Second to last placed SC Freiburg also gained badly needed points to fight relegation as they crushed harmless Hamburger SV players with 3-1.
